1. Our quotation for supply of goods will be prepared based on agreement between yourself and our designers and is valid for one month from the date of issue. Your written acceptance (email is acceptable) is required before commencement of order. In the event that any changes or variations to the initial quotation are made then the following procedure must be adopted:
You will notify us in writing (or email) if you require any changes. We will use all reasonable endeavours to accommodate these. If we cannot, the original will be adhered to. Any changes or variations instructed directly to any contractor or supplier will fall outside of the contract. We will notify you of the costing’s for any changes or variations. No additional work, which increases the cost of the quotation, will be undertaken until payment has been made pursuant to these Terms and Conditions.

2. If you choose to accept our quotation the goods will be placed on order upon receipt of your deposit. If there are any aspects of this quotation that are unclear to you, they should be raised prior to acceptance. Although every effort is made by us to ensure recommended components are suitable, it is your responsibility to check with us that all details of your order are in accordance with your requirements.

3. We will need to easily access your water tanks and get above the bathroom itself to install any extractor fan or lighting. It is your responsibility to ensure such access is clear and safe for us to enter. In the event you are unable to achieve this we will do so on your behalf. This clearance work is charged for at the hourly rate of £50 (inclusive of VAT). This will be an extra charge, not included in your original quotation.

4. Due to tile or flooring cuts and patterns quantities of these products are estimated only. In the event additional tiles or flooring is required these products will be charged as per your original quotation.

5. We will dispose of anything left in the bathroom, so please ensure you remove any fixtures or fittings you wish to keep or reuse before we arrive.

6. During the removal of your old bathroom there is a chance while removing old tiles and loosening old plaster that the vibrations may cause cracking to other walls close by. If this does happen, we’ll repair the area ready for you to arrange suitable re-decoration.

7. When we lift floorboards there is a possibility that the plaster on the ceiling below may crack and in some cases leave fixings visible, like nails and screws. If this does happen, we’ll repair the area ready for you to arrange suitable re-decoration.

8. During installation carpets are always protected with a sticky plastic covering, unfortunately there is no such protection for walls. We will always take the utmost care when in your home, however, when handling large heavy items up stairs and through hallways minor damage, such as chips or scuffs, may occur. If this does happen, we’ll repair the area ready for you to arrange suitable re-decoration.

9. If walls are having extensive (i.e. thick) plastering work carried out we will need to allow sufficient drying time before tiles are added. We will advise you accordingly in the event this becomes an issue. We require our drying times to be adhered to in order for our Workmanship Guarantee to remain valid.

10. In the event you have insufficient capacity in your water tanks to support the use of your required pump (potentially installed to increase water pressure to draw-off points such as showers and taps – pump manufacturers require a minimum of 50 gallons stored water to prevent the pump running dry), we will quote to provide this additional capacity, if required, during installation. In the event you do not wish to have this work carried out we will require you to sign a Pump Disclaimer Form.

11. Where we are providing installation services it shall be the responsibility of you the Customer to ensure that the place where the installation services are to be provided are safe and have been prepared ready for the installation works to commence.

12. Where we have agreed a price to undertake installation works this is agreed on the basis of the information which is known to us at the time or which ought reasonably to have been known to. Occasionally during the course of installation works matters do sometimes arise which are unforeseen or which we could not have been expected to foresee. You the Customer agree that in these circumstances there may be additional works that are required to be done for which an additional fee will be payable by you based on a fair and reasonable amount for the work involved and the materials necessary. We will agree that no such additional works will be done or charged for unless we have given you the Customer prior notice.

13. All of our electricians are fully qualified, and in order for them to sign-off works carried out on your property they have to conform to wiring regulations (17th edition). If you require any additional works these will be priced separately and if undertaken, quoted separately (e.g. insufficient earthing or no RCD protection on the board – REMEMBER; regulations are there to protect you and your family).

14. While we are working within your home we will need to close water supplies to the bathroom. If your isolation valves, such as stopcocks, are poorly maintained and have ceased to open or close they will need to be replaced for work to continue. These will be priced separately as an extra charge, not included in your original quotation.

15. If your heating system is old and poorly maintained, extensive works to and modernising of your bathroom could lead to problems when re-filling your system. Any modifications or upgrades to your heating system required to eradicate these problems will be priced separately as an extra charge, not included in your original quotation.

When placing your order you agree to conform to our payment terms and this is part of our terms and conditions of sale. Any delay in making these stage payments may cause delays to the installation programme (which may include suspension of works being carried out). We would ask that payment be made on the dates agreed. For the avoidance of doubt, this does not include any small remedial works that may be outstanding or separately ordered from us. For the avoidance of doubt, all products and materials used will remain our property until your balance has been paid in full.

18. We always use the very best tile adhesive and although flexible sometimes cracks can appear in grout lines (only applicable on wooden floors), due to natural movement. We allow for this by us of concrete backer board the floor and using flexible adhesive as standard. In such circumstances we cannot guarantee that cracks will not occur but we will repair any within the Workmanship Guarantee period.

19. If carpets are lifted then re-laid they can sometimes have a baggy look about them, although this should settle down after a week or so. In the event they do not resettle, we advise you to employ the services of a professional carpet fitter who will stretch them in to place correctly.

20. In the unlikely event you experience any product or workmanship related problem after installation you MUST contact us first. Failure to do so will invalidate your Workmanship Guarantee. For the avoidance of doubt, we will not be liable for any third-party costs unless we have expressly agreed to them in writing (an email from us being sufficient in such circumstances).
